Lyrics can be viewed in ALSong's lyrics window, from the miniaturized taskbar player, or in the translucent Desktop Lyrics Bar that floats on top of other applications. With well over 1 million lyrics synchronizations available, users can quickly search for and link lyrics to their music in a few seconds. For new music, users can enter their own lyrics and synchronizations to share with the world.

A few enhanced MP3 player features in ALSong include a 10 band EQ, sound effects, player transparency, custom album files, and a searchable playlist with collapsible virtual folders to easily group and organize music.
