Joining their 65 inch HD Plasma and the worlds largest 103 inch Plasma TV, Panasonic have recently announced a full line of ten new high defintion televsions for 2007. These include 42 inch, 50 inch and 58 inch 1080p high defintion models which all feature a beautiful gloss black finish.
The new Panasonic range will provide the consumer with four distinct plasma lines from which to choose. There are two specific model categories under the 1080p umbrella. The TH-58PZ700U, TH-50PZ700U and the TH-42PZ700 - combined with the current 65 inch and 103 inch Plasmas, will offer screen resolutions of 1920 x 1080p.
Toshiba have announced the launch of two new HD DVD Players to the Japenese market. The two second generation HD DVD players will be available from late December and are the Toshiba HD-XF2 and the HD-XA2.
The new HD DVD players are smaller and offer improved speed in loading and response times over the HD-XA1, the world's first HD DVD player, brought to market by Toshiba in March 2006.
The new high-end HD-XA2 supports Deep Color technology, an optional standard under HDMI that improves representation of color tones and achieves finer color gradation. HD-XA2 also provides support for the superior high-definition images of 1080p output.
The two new players can playback pre-recorded HD DVD sources, delivering stunning digital high-definition pictures and crystal clear sound.

Panasonic has announced that it is supplying NBC Universal with two 103” full high definition professional plasma displays (TH-103PF9UK) to be integrated into the set of NBC’s “Football Night in America ” studio show, premiering Sunday, September 10 at 7 p.m. ET.
The Panasonic TH-103PF9UK, which recently made its worldwide debut, is the world’s largest plasma television available.
