<p>Currently, the largest LCD TV screen size is 65 inches in diameter. The company will unveil its 70-inch LCD HDTV at the International Meeting on Information Displays (IMID) 2006, which will open in Daegu, Korea on August 23.</p>

The CCFL maker has sent a sample to panel maker AU Optronics (AUO). However, Wellypower has not yet issued a volume production schedule for the 57-inch LCD TV-use CCFL, according to the company.</p>

During the first quarter, LCD TV shipments from HANNspree totaled 150,000 units, noted the paper, adding that the Taiwan-based LCD TV maker aims to ship one million units in the fourth quarter.</p>
