Panasonic DMP-BD10A Blu Ray DVD PlayerThe availability of the next generation of Blu-Ray disc player has recently been announced by Panasonic.

As well as playing pre recorded Blu-Ray discs, the DMP-BD10A also plays standard defintion DVD's and CD's. Conventional DVD's play with automatic 1080p up-conversion via the HDMI connector.

On the audio front, the Panasonic DMP-BD10A features an upgrade package that brings high end surround audio to the viewing experience via the inclusion of 7.1 channel Dolby Surround, True HD and dts-HD High Resolution Audio  decoding technology.

Panasonic's proprietary EZ-SyncTM system for integrated one touch operation of Panasonic home theater components is incorporated into the DMP-BD10A. During it's initial introduction and for a limited time, the player also comes bundled with five hit Blu-ray discs.

This results in images with exceptional resolution.

Other notable features include a 297MHz 14bit Video D/A Converter with 4X oversampling, video noise shaping that improves signal-to-noise ratios by shifting noise to an unused band, and theoretical support for nearly 4400 billion colors.
