Acer introduces three new DLP Video Projectors

Acer, leader in the Notebook segment in EMEA, Europe, Middle East and Africa announces the addition of three stunning new DLP™ projectors to its highly-successful range of digital projectors.

The three new models, PD527D, PD525PW and PH730 mark a significant step forward in Acer’s promise to deliver cutting-edge technology at affordable prices, bringing an exciting range of easy-to-use technological innovations to home and business users alike.

Acer´s broad range of projectors includes Professional, Value, Travel and also a Video Series that offer the finest portable and ultra-portable DLP™ technology to meet the requirements of both Home, SoHo and SMB markets.
Like all Acer projectors, the three new models all feature the most recent updates of the advanced DLP™ micro-sized chipset, resulting in slimmer, lighter but more robust designs, improving portability and ergonomics while keeping total cost of ownership to a minimum. Acer projectors have been engineered to compliment the smart design of Acer notebooks to create a particularly elegant and stylish portable office.

The three new Acer projectors all feature Acer’s innovative Empowering Technology, making them the projectors of choice for users looking for quick and simple set up and reliable operation.

Empowering Technology offers rapid access to frequently-used functions and settings such as, depending on the model, Acer eView Management, a practical utility that allows users to create and save display profiles based on their viewing preferences for different types of media and scenarios; it comes with useful preset profiles, and permits users to modify and create their own colour profiles as needed; or Acer eOpening Management, a simple utility that enables easy customization of the projector's start-up and standby screen, which is displayed each time the projector is turned on or without input. Facilitates the usage of different screens for different situations, with an easy-to-use interface; or Acer eTimer Management that helps users respect the timing of their presentation. Thanks to a customizable OSD timer, users can set a countdown that notifies them when their time is up.

In addition, the Empowering key on the ergonomic remote control allows users to switch rapidly between PC, Video, Bright, Theatre, Movie and User display modes as well as provides access to the most used Menu options. The handy PageUp & PageDown function on the remote control is ideal for professional and efficient business presentations.

The latest projectors all feature the possibility to customize the start-up screen, allowing users to download images directly from the PC via USB and project specific images as a company logo or even a family photo at start up.
