Samsung LN-S3251D takes the current top position!

OK, buying a new LCD large screen was a challenge I was putting off for awhile. There were simply too many choices, too many variables and too wide a range of prices. I decided to sit back a observe for awhile. Then I started frequenting the electronics outlets and found literally a HUNDRED variations of the 25-50 inch LCD I was seeking. I had desire and understanding, but still not enough to push me into a purchase.

Walking through Dallas-Ft. Worth airport a few weeks ago, Terminal C and D, I noted SAMSUNG had outfitted them with a large number of screens and phones. They even have a 'showroom near gates C25 or so (near Starbucks)… (Hey SAMSUNG Marketing folks: Good Advertising!)

OK, now I was intrigued. I sat there drinking my Starbucks and looking at the LN-S2651D model for an hour and was truly amazed. Doing my research online, I realized they had been shipping the 26-inch unit (on display near C25) for a long while, began shipping the 32-inch unit in late May, and finally started shipping the 40-inch unit as I write.

Let me say, these are amazing! I purchased the 32-inch unit (for a bedroom) 2 weeks ago and have been glued to it ever since. As I grew to find out, these LCD purchases (over $1000 category) are all about individual likes and observation rather than written specs and datasheets. YOU HAVE TO SEE IT TO BELIEVE IT! I recommend to ANYONE that you do NOT buy any form of LCD on specs alone. You have to SEE it before you buy….
