Pace offer free-to-air HDTV satellite set top box

26 May 2006 – Pace Micro Technology has today announced the launch of a high definition (HD) free-to-air satellite set-top box meaning footie fans won't have to sign up to Sky or Telewests' services to get the BBC HD football matches.

However, there is a catch.

Pace is keen to point out that to get the HD signal keen viewers will have to move their satellite dish to point to the Astra satellite at 19.2 degrees or 28.2 degrees (with BBC HD satellite programming only available on the latter feed) and of course a HD-Ready television set to watch the content.
