Panasonic have introduced a new Blu-Ray Disc Player for the North American Market. The Panasonic DMP-BD50 Blu-Ray Disc Player offers a wide range of functions that foster the transition to HD – including 1080p image quality, lossless Dolby® TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio™ and versatile Picture-in-Picture applications.
Samsung have announced their latest line up of LCD HDTV for the US HD Digital Television market.
There are six new models in the Series 4 LCD HDTV covering the 19 inch to 40 inch size range. The Series 5 LCD HDTV line up consists of five new models in the 32 inch to 52 inch size range. Both the Series 4 and Series 5 LCD HDTVs will be available in March 2008.

Following on from the successful introduction of the world's first 3D ready DLP HDTV in 2007, Samsung Electronics have announced the addition of two new models to their Series 7 LED DLP HDTV range. The HL61A750 and HL67A750 61 inch and 67 inch respective models will be available in April and June 2008.

Expanding on the introduction of the world's first 3D-ready DLP HDTVs in 2007, Samsung Electronics have announced the introduction of four new models in their Series 6 lineup.
The Series 6 DLP HDTVs will be available from April 2008 in 50 inch, 56 inch, 61 inch and 72 inch sizes.

Panasonic have recently introduced two further 1080p High Definition Plasma TVs to its lineup for 2007.
The two models are the 42 inch TH-42PZ77 and the 50 inch TH-50PZ77 both of which are scheduled to be shipped at the end of September 2007.
