Canon have announced thier next generation of D-SLR or Digital Single Lens Reflex camera in the form of the EOS 400D. The Canon EOS 400D features a whole host of new developments over the best selling EOS 350D which is currently the fastest selling SLR camera of all time - Canon's EOS 300D, the world's first consumer D-SLR, kick started a digital revolution in 2003.

PENTAX has announced the latest model in the Optio M series. The Optio M20 is a compact, affordable digital camera now offering 7.0 effective megapixels plus a wide range of basic features including extended AA battery life that makes the camera an ideal travel companion. Fujifilm have announced the launch of the FinePix S9100, the latest model in Fujifilm's SLR-styled digital camera line-up and successor to the highly regarded FinePix S9000. The FinePix S9100 features a 10.7x Fujinon optical zoom lens, nine MegaPixel Fujifilm Super CCD sensor and ISO 80-1600 capabilities. Canon today launches two PowerShot A-Series compact cameras with the highest resolution in the range to date - the 10.0 Megapixel PowerShot A640 and 8.0 Megapixel PowerShot A630. Replacing the highly popular PowerShot A610 and A620, both cameras feature a rotating 2.5" vari-angle LCD, 4x optical zoom lens and a vast array of creative shooting modes.
