Panasonic have introduced the 10.2 megapixel Lumix DMC-LX2, successor to the popular DMC-LX1, which received worldwide acclaim for its unique 16:9 wide aspect ratio CCD, full-featured functions, and smart design. New features included on the DMC-LX2 include the world's first Intelligent ISO Control to compensate for blurriness caused by subject movement.

Panasonic have introduced the LUMIX DMC-FZ50, the successor to the critically acclaimed DMC-FZ30, featuring 10.1 megapixels and Panasonic's revolutionary Intelligent ISO Control technology which compensates for subject movement to decrease image blurriness - an industry first.

Panasonic have introduced the new LUMIX 7.2-megapixel DMC-FX50 and DMC-FX07 digital still cameras, and also the 6-megapixel DMC-FX3, the world's first to feature Intelligent ISO Control (IIC) to correct image blurriness caused by movement of the subject matter.

Panasonic have announced the introduction of the new HDTV Photo Player DMW-SDP1 that allows users to view photos taken by a LUMIX or other SD-enabled digital camera in High Definition quality on a large screen TV, such as Panasonic's award winning line of Plasma TVs.

Panasonic Corporation of North America  have announced the availability of its first digital single-lens reflex (SLR) camera with an interchangeable lens, the DMC-L1, in the United States .  The camera comes equipped with a LEICA D VARIO-ELMARIT lens featuring the industry's first optical image stabilization system MEGA O.I.S designed specifically for the Leica lens.
