The Cyberhome CH-DVR 1600 is a Region Free DVD Recorder and
Player with Progressive Scan Video Output.
The Cyberhome CH-DVR 1600 Region Free DVD Recorder has an integral PAL to NTSC video converter
which will allow playback of any DVD from anywhere in the world on to a US or Canadian NTSC Television
The Cyberhome CH-DVR 1600 Region Free DVD Recorder will only record in NTSC format but
will Play both NTSC and PAL format DVD's.
The CyberHome CH-DVR 1600 Region Free DVD Recorder lets you record to inexpensive and reliable DVD+R/RW discs
from the built-in TV Tuner or any video source! Choose from Super High-Quality mode or additional modes for
continuous recording on a DVD+R/RW disc. Connect your VCR and transfer your VHS movies to DVD discs and share with
family and friends. Do you have a camcorder? You can also connect your camcorder directly to the DVD recorder’s DV
connector, IEEE 1394, and put your home movies onto DVD discs to share with family and friends.

How to convert your CyberHome CH-DVR 1600
into a Region Free DVD Player
There are two versions of the Cyberhome DVR 1600
which require different methods of changing the Region Coding
CH-DVR 1600 MU
- Power Up the unit with NO Disc in the
tray.
- Press the Setup button on your
remote control
- Press the 1 button on your
remote control
- Press the 6 button on your
remote control
- Press the 9 button on your
remote control
- Press the 5 button on your
remote control
- Press the 1
button on your remote control
- Press the 8 button on your remote control
- Select the region code with the Number buttons or the Navigation
Buttons on your remote control. 0 (Zero) for Multiregion.
- Exit the menu
- Press the Power Off button on your remote control
- Press the Power On button on your remote control
